Lyrics

Little boy lost
In search of little boy found
You go a wondering,
wandering,
stumbling,
tumbling 'Round... 'round...

When will you find
What's on the tip of your mind
Why are you blind
To all you ever would
Never would
Really are
Nearly are

Little boy false
In search of little boy true
Will you be ever done
Travelling
Always unravelling
You ... you

Running away
Could lead you farther astray
And as for fishing in streams
For pieces of dreams
Those pieces will never fit
What is the sense of it

Little boy blue
Don't let your little sheep roam
It's time come blow your horn
Meet the morn Look and see
Can you be Far from home?

Lyrics

I may get along, when love is gone
Still you made your mark, here in my heart

One day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?

I followed the night
Can't stand the light
When will I begin
My life again

One day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?

Why live life from dream to dream
And dread the day that dreaming ends

One day I'll fly away
Leave your love to yesterday
What more can your love do for me?
When will love be through with me?

Why live life from dream to dream
And dread the day that dreaming ends

One day I'll fly away
(Fly away)

Nadie Más Te Quiso (Como Yo)
Nobody Loves You More (Than Me)
Original English version written by Neil Harrison. Spanish version by Leonardo Schultz

Released on the 1989 album La Mujer. The song was translated from the English song, I Could Never Miss You (More Than I Do) written by Neil Harrison, which was a chart success for Lulu in 1981.
Lulu

In a review of I Could Never Miss You (More Than I Do) Joe Viglione wrote that Lulu's rendition of this song is one of those exquisite singles that you can just think of years after having heard it on the radio, and the melody will swim around in your head all day. The song is described as a pop blues song about the one that got away.

The track was the highlight of the self-titled album on the Alfa label, and came 14 years after Lulu's chart-breaker "To Sir With Love." It has been said that when Lulu sings the classic line "I've had my share of backing nothing but losers," you get the feeling she means it, and she's missing the one winner. Lulu reached position number 18 in the US Billboard, and it was her last top 40 hit in the United States.

In Britain, Lulu is probably best known for her 1964 rendition of "Shout," described by a critic as "probably the best rock 'n' roll performance by a woman in the history of British pop." She married Bee Gee Maurice Gibb in a blaze of publicity and riotous crowd scenes outside the Buckinghamshire church where the ceremony took place. Unfortunately, the marriage was to last four years, before ending in divorce. Lulu was also a Bond singer, recording the theme to The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974. She also worked with David Bowie and married famous hairdresser John Frieda in 1976.

Neil Harrison

Songwriter Neil Harrison is probably better known as playing John Lennon in the Beatles tribute band "The Bootleg Beatles" than being the writer of I Could Never Miss You (More Than I Do).

In addition to I Could Never Miss You (More Than I Do), he also contributed two more titles to Lulu's self-titled album; these being "Can't Hold Out on Love" and the Bee Gees-esque "Don't Take Love for Granted."

Lyrics
Spanish Version Lyrics
Original English Version

Fácil, de prisa,
yo repartí mis emociones,
hoy cenizas,
tan sólo un recuerdo hay en mí
y que prolongó
las penas en mi corazón,
y aún no sé por qué razón
la vida hoy me separó,
o sí nadie más te quiso, no como yo.

Nadie nunca quiso ni en el paraíso,
no como yo.
Nadie nunca quiso ni en el paraíso,
no como yo.

Vuelvo ya sin prisas
con el mismo fuego en mi alma
hecho trizas;

soy infeliz y desespero,
es que nadie te ama,
nadie tanto como yo.

Repeat to fade:
(Nadie nunca quiso ni en el paraíso,
no como yo.)
No, no, no...
(Nadie nunca quiso ni en el paraíso,
no como yo.)

Transcribed by Carlos
Finders, not keepers,
and all that's left is just reminders,
love in pieces,
the debris and the dust are memories,
that linger so long,
my heart aches that keep hanging on,
just wondering where it all went wrong
and whether I can start a new,
oh but I could never miss you, more than I do,

Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.
Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.

Beggars can't be choosers
and I've had my share of backing nothing,
but losers;
but if I searched the whole world over,
from pillar to post,
you're the one that I need the most,
If I called this land from coast to coast,
who would take the place of you?
'cos I could never miss you more than I do.

Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.
Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.

I couldn't love you any better,
I couldn't love you any more,
cause I spend each and every second
each and every hour,
hoping you'll be at my door.

Repeat to fade:
Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.
(More than I do baby..)
Loving you like this oh I could never miss you,
more than I do.
(Oh more baby...)
